About the item
This set of four Quinta Chairs by Mario Botta for Alias combines a strong architectural presence with surprising comfort. The black seat, the perforated back, and the slender metal frame together form a graphic and particularly timeless whole.
About design and history
The Quinta was designed in 1985 and is constructed from black lacquered steel, with a perforated metal back and seat on a continuous tubular structure that also forms the armrests and base. The pronounced geometry and clear construction perfectly reflect Botta's architectural design language.
