Set of 6 Tulip chairs by Eero Saarinen for Knoll international
The Tulip Chair was designed in 1956 by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International.
Saarinen was disturbed by a jumble of legs that could always be seen under a dining table and decided to design a chair that consisted of 1 whole and only had 1 leg.
It became a very successful design among the general public & is now considered a true icon.
After more than 50 years, this chair is still one of the best-selling designer chairs.
The foot is known for its smooth shape & is a model of 1950s modernism.
The chair leg is made of cast aluminum.
It is a true timeless classic and unique in its form.
The tulip chair creates simplicity in the interior & has a warm and cozy appearance due to its shape.
This set dates from the 90s and is in superb condition!
