Set of 4 tulip chairs by eero saarinen for knoll international
The Tulip Chair was designed in 1956 by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International.
Saarinen was annoyed by a tangle of legs that could always be seen under a dining table and decided to design a chair that consisted of 1 whole and only had 1 leg.
It became a very successful design with the general public & is now considered a true icon.
This exceptional set dates from the 1970s and is therefore no less than 50 years old.
THE Knoll tulip chair is still one of the best-selling designer chairs.
The base is known for its fluid shape & is an example of modernism from the 50s.
The chair leg is made of cast aluminum.
It is a real timeless classic and unique in its shape.
The tulip chair creates simplicity in the interior & has a warm and cozy appearance due to its shape.
These Knoll Tulip chairs are also in beautiful vintage condition and can be rotated! The chairs are marked with the Knoll international emblem!
