About the item
This sculptural wall cabinet by Pierre De Valck combines a distinctive crescent shape with patinated bronze and an exceptional fragment of Lapis Lazuli. Behind the two hinged doors are four compartments. Functional as a cabinet, but above all a powerful work of art on the wall.
About design and history
Centrally located between the doors is a raw Lapis Lazuli, estimated to be approximately 65 million years old and originating from the historic Sar e Sang mines in Badakhshan, Afghanistan. De Valck aptly calls his approach “Modern Antiquities,” in which centuries-old geological materials find a place in contemporary collectible design.
About the designer and maker

About fitness
The cabinet is in exceptionally good condition . The patinated bronze and the rough Lapis Lazuli together enhance the unique, almost archaeological character of the design.
