Alfred Hendrickx is a Belgian designer from the 1950s and 1960s. Hendrickx became known, among other things, with his Belform series for expo '58. He is described as our most important post-war designer.
The Belgian designer Alfred Hendrickx was born in 1931.
His 1950s and 1960s pieces have recently been rediscovered in the vintage market, sought after for their more 'industrial style' take on the mid-century Scandinavian look, using both fine woods such as rosewood and teak.
This table is a fine example of his simplistic style. Simple but oh so beautiful.
This Alfred Hendrickx dates from the 1960s and is in very nice condition, the glass is also in good condition.
