Alfred Hendrickx is a Belgian designer from the 50s and 60s. Hendrickx became known for his series Belform for expo '58. He is described as our most important post-war designer.
The Belgian designer Alfred Hendrickx was born in 1931.
His pieces from the 50s and 60s have recently been rediscovered in the vintage market, sought after for their more 'industrial style' take on the mid-century Scandinavian look, using both fine woods such as rosewood and teak.
This table is a fine example of its simplistic style. Simple but oh so beautiful.
This Alfred Hendrickx dates from the 1960s and is in very nice condition, the glass is also in good condition.
