Set of 2 Elipson 4040 speakers, 1970s

About the item
This set of two Elipson 4040 speakers is both an impressive audio system and a sculptural design object. The characteristic spherical speakers rest on large white bass cabinets that are not only visually striking but also contribute to their particularly full and powerful sound.

About design and history
Elipson developed a distinctive approach to loudspeaker design in which acoustics and form were inextricably linked. The loudspeakers were handcrafted, which further emphasizes their unique construction and character.
