Rare complete set of high sideboard cabinets designed by Alfred Hendrickx for Belform in 1958. Especially for the world exhibition expo58.
This unique piece of furniture is a real eye-catcher and made of beautiful "Bubinga" wood with a beautiful drawing. Bubinga is an exclusive African rosewood wood type.
The ivory-colored sliding doors provide a playful character and modern touch to the design. What is very exceptional is the fact that this concerns a right and left piece of furniture. So that the color arrangement is correct. Bought by the first owner in the early 1960s.
The high sideboard rests on an elegant black lacquered frame with an architectural shape. This tall piece of furniture by Alfred Hendrickx is difficult to find, especially as a set. There is plenty of storage space inside due to the various shelves that are height-adjustable as well as several beautifully finished inner drawers.
And there is also a built-in bar in the furniture with a beautiful folding door and glass shelves.
The set is in sublimely good condition. Maniacally maintained by the first and only owners.
This is a beautiful piece of Belgian history and is extremely sought after by national and international interior architects.
What is very interesting is that this set is sold under the VAT system. So the price is VAT INCLUDED!
This way, a business customer can reclaim VAT.
