Description
The Tulip Chair was designed in 1956 by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International.
Saarinen was annoyed by a tangle of legs that could always be seen under a dining table and decided to design a chair that consisted of 1 whole and only showed 1 leg.
It became a very successful design with the general public & is now considered a true icon.
This exceptional set dates from the 1970s and is therefore no less than 50 years old.
The Knoll tulip chair is still one of the best-selling design chairs.
The foot is known for its flowing shape & is an example of modernism from the 1950s.
The chair leg is made of die-cast aluminum.
It is a real timeless classic and unique in its form.
The tulip chair creates simplicity in the interior & has a warm and cozy appearance due to its shape.
These Knoll Tulip chairs are in vintage condition and are rotatable!
The chairs are marked with Knoll international.
Only for true vintage enthusiasts! These chairs are more than 50 years old, so they are for people who like the necessary patina. These are not new chairs!
