The Tavolo Con Ruote was designed by Italian design legend Gae Aulenti for Fontana Arte in 1980. The table was inspired by an industrial trolley that was used to transport glass pieces in the Aulenti factory.
Aulenti replaced the wooden carrier with a glass plate to create an iconic piece of Italian design.
At the bottom of the glass plate is a small piece of the glass.
