This small sports car is a very faithful miniature reproduction of Ferrari's famous 330 P2 racing car, of the type that won a number of races on legendary circuits in the mid-1960s.
The beautifully crafted body is as sultry as the big Ferrari.
Serial number 59 and produced in the early 1990s, this example presents beautifully and is ready to be used and enjoyed. Powered by a 5.0 hp Honda engine capable of speeds of up to 64km, the Ferrari 330 P2, like any other De La Chapelle Junior car, was built entirely to special order by French car manufacturer De La Chapelle.
This car is the version with the heaviest engine, and completely original and from the first owner who bought the car for his children in the 90s.
This car was always in the hands of 1 West Flemish family and was maniacally maintained.
The la Chapelle Ferrari 330 P2 features a fiberglass body over a steel chassis, key start, functional headlights, indicators, speed and tachometers. The interior features a cloth and leather-trimmed bucket seat and is surrounded by an aluminum cockpit with a beautifully detailed dashboard and steering wheel. A remarkable little car, the level of detail is absolutely demonstrative of what makes De La Chapelle Juniors so exquisite and exciting.
Very unique to come across one, even more unique to be able to buy one!
The same car was recently auctioned for €120,000 at auction.
Be sure to come and see this in THE WAUW HOUSE.
