This console was designed by Angelo Mangiarotti and manufactured in 1971 by Skipper in Italy. The table consists of a solid Carrara marble top resting on two conical cylinders.
He was a master of innovation and was able to conquer the world with his gravity-based designs. He designed his collection of marble tables without any form of connections or clamps. His works have been shown in many exhibitions around the world, including the Center Pompidou in Paris, the Triennale Design Museum in Milan and Gallery MA in Tokyo.
