Lino Sabattini is an Italian designer best known for his innovative design of silver plated coffee sets and other household items.
None other than Gio Ponti was Lino Sabattini's mentor and friend, from which beautifully designed ensued.
Sabattini went to work for the Christofle company in Paris and Milan and eventually founded his own company, Argenteria Sabattini, in 1964.
Today, his works are kept in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, among others.
